One thing my children constantly teach me is patience. Whether it's picking out school clothes, or deciding hair styles.... they MUST have the final say. I've learned to allow them to take the wheel on most occasions. It builds their confidence and teaches them independence.
Other times I grind my teeth and pray to God for patience to keep from screaming at them while they are on their 5th "but why?"
Majority of the time I'm apologizing because I screamed before the prayer, but hey... we're all learning!
